How it works:
The stump grinding process involves first assessing the stump to make sure there’s nothing hazardous that could cause complications. Once that’s done, we then bring the stump grinding machine in the proper position over the tree stump and start grinding it down to fine mulched wood chips or “sawdust.” We generally grind stumps down to several inches below ground level so you have space to fill the hole up with soil and do what you want with the ground afterwards, although the hole will generally fill up on its own through the stump grinding process. Our policy is to consult the homeowner so that we can determine exactly how deep we’re going to grind the stump down. There is often leftover mulch which we can dispose of for you or you can keep for gardening purposes.
